This one’s a tough one for me, and I’ve been avoiding it and I’ve realised it has slowed me down. In all honesty …
Nothing
There is a lot of very Very talented artist out there all doing their thang. Some of them in a similar way, style or medium to me. Some far superior to my level and some working towards improving.
We are ALL different and unique.
I draw, I create, I love what I do. I enjoy experimenting with different ways of doing things and finding the perfect medium to achieve just that exact effect I’m after.
Nothing pleases me more than when a work is finished and I can look back on it and see that - although it may not have lived up to my (often unreasonable) expectations - I’ve learnt something.
Even if that is learning how NOT to do something the next time.
Maybe my Unique Selling Point is way simpler than I’m trying to make it.
I’m an individual … I am different ... I am unique
My art is mine … created by me … in my style
I’m not trying to be anyone else - I can’t be - it’s hard enough to be me
