I had the chance to meet Ari when I volunteered at Canberra Zoo. He was so lovely, holding my hand while I was feeding him so I wouldn’t take his food away. He was such a lovely soul that I created this piece from one of my own photographs as a cherished reminder of my experience.

I love nothing more than working white on black. This one was completed using a ridiculously fine paint brush and white ink and is approx 5x7 inches. The only thing better than detail, is more detail.

Trying out new supplies. The soft nature of this image lent itself perfectly for my new Panpastel practice. I also took this opportunity to try out a new background material by Colourfix for use with pastels

I created this piece for exhibition at the Dragonfly Community Gallery as part of their Fisher’s Ghost Festival show. In order to get the effect I was after, I incorporated Panpastel, coloured pencil, and Rotring Ink, on Canson Mi-Teintes Touch Sanded Paper.

This is one panel of Nature’s Colour Spectrum. It was completed as a part of my Post Graduate University Degree. I am fascinated with detail and colour and this was my way to demonstrate all the beauty I find in nature.
